TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Calgary Christian School

 

Facility Rental Conditions

·         Smoking is prohibited in the school building.

·         Non-marking footwear must be worn in the gym unless protective mats have been laid down.

·         Set-up and takedown of tables, chairs, and mats is the responsibility of the group renting the facility (check with Janitor).

·         The rental party will provide proper supervision.  Damages to equipment or to the facility shall be their responsibility; the school administration must be notified of damages as soon as possible.

·         If additional cleaning is required, the rental party will be charged $65 per hour for janitorial services.

·         All functions must end by 11:00 pm.  A penalty of $30 per hour will be assessed for abuse of this time limit.

·         Groups renting the facility must provide proof of liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000.00.

·         Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited on the premises.

 

 

Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to use the premises of Calgary Christian School, we hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

1.    We accept the full responsibility for any loss, destruction or damage caused to your premises by our organization, and its employees, volunteers, member, guests or participants;

2.    We accept the full responsibility for any injury or death to any participants involved within our organization’s use of your premises (including spectators and visitors);

3.    The event must be supervised at all times by an adult over the age of 25 years;

4.    We will maintain current and valid general liability insurance for a minimum of $1,000,000.00 and tenants’ legal liability for a minimum of $500,000 relative to the use of your premises.

(In the event that the insurance requirement has been waived, Point 4 must be stroked out, and initialed by all parties. Such waiving of the insurance makes the organization renting the premises directly responsible for any damages or liability.)

 

I have read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement.  I fully understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
