Reid Community Centre

The Reid Community Centre includes a Double Gymnasium, Health & Fitness Centre, Youth Centre, Kitchen Facilities, and Change Rooms with Shower facilities. A wide variety of activities are offered at the centre, including recreational activities for children/youth, adults & seniors, fitness programs, indoor walking, community fundraisers, dinners, dances, banquets, birthday parties & craft fairs.  The Gym can hold a max of 400 persons with tables & chairs and space for dance floor and our portable stage.

RENTAL RATES: Vary depending on event / activity.

Now available Sunday's 3:00 - 5:00pm for Children's Birthday Parties.  You can book the full gym for $80, 2 hour rental including access to kitchen.  The 2 hours includes your setup & cleanup time.

Park Place Community Centre Located at 61 Park Avenue CLICK FOR MAP:

This facility has two floors available for rent and is wheel chair accessible.   It is suitable for weddings, adult dances, showers, & meetings. The upstairs floor capacity varies from 150 - 130 people depending on type of event; downstairs has capacity of 100 people (150 on  Friday/Saturday nights); kitchen suitable for warming foods and food prep.  This is a  cash bar facility.  Building Phone # 748-1190.

RENTAL RATES: PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE

• $150  for one floor with Bar
• $250 for both floors with Bar
• $375 for non-alcohol event one floor 
• $125 for showers 
• $100 kitchen access.

Please note that this facility can not accommodate Children's Parties.

Pearlgate Track & Field Complex Located at 120 Old Placentia Road CLICK FOR MAP

Pearlgate Track & Field Facility is located directly behind the Reid Community Centre and Mount Pearl Glacier, this is an international standard facility, operated by a volunteer Board of Management. It was constructed in 1988 for the Newfoundland & Labrador Summer Games. It combines the best features for recreation, training, competition, and community events. These features include an eight lane, 400 meter polyurethane surface, concrete throwing circles, polyurethane areas and runways for high jump, pole vault, and javelin.

 The two story adjacent multi-purpose facility  includes an upstairs room suitable for hosting receptions, adult parties, showers, and workshops. It has washroom & kitchen facilities suitable for warming foods and a large patio. Capacity is 100 people. Downstairs  includes washroom and shower facilities, first aid room, and storage room for athletic events.

RENTAL RATES:

• $260 Evening Rental (6pm - 2am) 
•  $130 for Shower or Child's Party
•  $370 for Weddings includes cleanup 
•  $60 Cleanup fee

St. Davids Softball Complex

St. David's Softball Complex consists of a multi-purpose room which is suitable to hold adult parties, showers, and meetings. The maximum capacity is 60 people. It has kitchen facilities which are suitable for reheating purposes. 

RENTAL RATES:

• $175 Evening rental (6pm - 2am)
•  $60 for showers or child's parties (Not available on Friday's or Saturday's)
•  $50 Cleanup fee

St. David's Baseball Field is located on St. David's Avenue just off of Commonwealth Avenue. The field is adjacent to the Mount Pearl Tennis Complex and can be seen clearly from Ruth Avenue.

Squire Field

Squire Softball Field is located off Park Avenue in Mount Pearl, adjacent to the Mount Pearl Swimming Pool complex.

Smallwood Field

Smallwood Baseball Field is located off Smallwood drive in Mount Pearl, and is adjacent to the Smallwood Drive Soccer Complex and Hockey Arena.

Pearlgate Field
