These calendars are subject to change without notice.  To book a facility you must pay a deposit and sign a contract.  We can not confirm a booking or the rate more than a year in advance.

Cancellation Policy for Swimming Activities: 

Classes may be cancelled or combined depending upon registration and are subject to time change when necessary.  We reserve the right to cancel a class with less than one half a class registered.  Credits or refunds will only be issued if the class is cancelled by the Department or if a participant is medically required to withdraw from a set of lessons with at least four classes remaining.

Insurance Policy

Fees for medical insurance coverage have been included in registration fees for participants in all programs run directly by the Department of Community Services.

We like showing pictures of people enjoying our programs, activities, facilities and parks.  A picture of you smiling says even more - it shows you enjoy the benefits of active living.  So if you see our photographer - smile!  You may just show up in our next publication or on our website.  If you prefer not to have your picture or your child's picture taken, please let the photographer know and we will  be happy to comply.

 

 

REC EXPRESS - ONLINE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Using REC EXPRESS

  1. What can I do with the system? - Online Registration for City run Programs, request to book a City Facility, and view calendars of events/programs/available dates at all City Facilities.


  2. I am a new customer. What do I need to do? - You will need to create a account, go to the My Account page and click on the right that says Create a New Account.


  3. Why do I get a error message? – There are various reasons you may get a error message the most common are as follows:
    • Error 1002: Is the case where the user is hitting the “back” button before the page has finished processing and sending the invoice.
    • Error 1202: This is when the user is double clicking the final button before payment.
    • Error 1203: Where someone is building up there cart and the course is available at the time but then the spot gets filled as they are building their cart. So when they go to process their payment a course is no longer available.

Logon

  1. I forgot my logon user name and or PIN. What should I do? - If you forgot your user name call 748-1002/748-1052, if you forgot your PIN hit the Forgot password link.


  2. I am a Non-resident. Can I still access the system? - Yes


  3. Who should I sign up? - The account should be set up in name you wish the receipts to be issued in then you can add others as group members to this account.


  4. I would like to add more family members. How do I do this? - Logon to your account and click the add group members


  5. I would like to change my email address/information. How do I do this? - Logon to your account, click the my account and make changes on this page. Note you can not change your name if inputted incorrectly, therefore you will have to call 748-1002/748-1052 for these changes.

 

Facility Bookings

  1. How do I request a booking? - To request a booking simply email bookings@mountpearl.ca or call 748-1002 with details of your event, # of persons attending, dates and facility you prefer to book.


  2. What facilities are available? – Reid Community Centre, Pearlgate Track & Field Complex, St. Davids Softball Complex, and Park Place Community Centre.


  3. Can I pay online? – Unfortunately you can not pay for your booking online.


  4. Must I come in to sign the contract? – Yes. We will also require the deposit at this time.


  5. Do I have to pay a deposit? - Yes


  6. What are the cancellation policies? - Must be given in writing, and depending on how much notice, will determine how much of the deposit will be refunded.
