May 14th, 2021 – Victoria, BC – Amelia Park Ice Arena in Massachusetts has chosen Book King’s Recreation Management Software by Pacific Tier Solutions.
Book King’s Scheduling, Registration and Public Access Modules were recently selected by the Amelia Park Ice Arena in Massachusetts. Book King Software was chosen because of the extremely user-friendly interface for both their staff and the general public to use.
Amelia Park Ice Arena will move to cloud computing by implementing the Book King Recreation Software in time for online registration for both activities and events and scheduling of the facility rentals for the upcoming season. Book King’s Scheduling, Registration and Public Access Website Modules will provide the Arena with an advanced yet affordable recreation management software system.
With the fast implementation that Book King provides, the Amelia Park Ice Arena can offer additional services and manage bookable spaces currently not covered. The software will save hundreds of staff hours by reducing staff workload and administrative overhead and by streamlining the scheduling, registration and invoicing business processes. Book King’s cloud solution provides the Amelia Park Ice Arena with a centralized database accessible from any computer with an internet connection.

The Amelia Park facilities are located in Westfield, Massachusetts, United States. The Amelia Park Ice Rink is the only ice rink in Westfield. The main building is a 47,000-square-foot (4,400 m2) facility, a figure skating lounge, three party rooms, a skate rental and sharpening area, four locker rooms and a food concession area. A 65′ x 170′ outside inline skating rink is located next to the main building. The $6 million facility was created by Albert Ferst in memory of his late wife, Amelia. The facility houses activities and events, such as open skating times, hockey games for Westfield State University, St. Mary’s High School, Westfield High School, and Sled Hockey Games. Gardens span 3.1 acres (13,000 m2) and are located across from the main entrance of the arena.
