Book King’s full software suite will become a tool for learning at California State University, Fresno. The application will be used in classrooms in the Department of Recreation Administration where students learn to become future Recreation leaders. The use of Book King Software will allow faculty and students to easily replicate real life recreational management scenarios as part of their learning curriculum and prepare students for careers within Parks and Recreation in California and beyond.
The Department of Recreation Administration will streamline e-learning by implementing Book King’s web-based application, allowing users to login from both the classroom and home to accomodate more time with a hands on practice. The software’s Facility Scheduling, Course Registration, Membership, Public Access and Point of Sale Modules will provide students with a well rounded educational environment to tackle real life scenarios and needs that arise within Parks and Recreation Departments nationwide.
Book King is proud to offer free software to post-secondary institutions to use in the classroom setting where the only cost is the initial training of the professors on configuration and learning of the program. Once trained, the site is available for instructors to use year after year as part of their curriculum with each intake of new students within the Recreation Administration program.
