November 15th, 2021 – Victoria, BC – The City of Corner Brook, NL has chosen Book King’s Recreation Management Software by Pacific Tier Solutions based in Victoria, BC.
Book King’s Scheduling and Public Access Modules were recently selected in a request for proposals process by the City of Corner Brook in Newfoundland and Labrador. Book King Software was chosen by the municipality because it helps Municipal Parks and Recreation Departments operate 50% faster, improve customer experience, and reduce front counter visits by up to 80%, allowing them to do more with less. Book King allows users to create their own online account that enables easy online facility booking requests, notifications and approvals including online payments. The Community of Corner Brook will be pleased to have access to online recreation services that will increase convenience and reduce face to face interaction at their recreational facilities.
In addition to offering conveniences for Communities, Book King Software provides access for facilities managers who will now be able to run reports on what maintenance projects need to be completed and enter notes. In 2022 there are plans to implement more of the Book King Software suite including an integration with the City’s financial software, iCity. Twenty-five of Book King Software’s customers use iCity Financial Software, so it is a familiar process for the Book King team.
Book King is also used by the neighboring Municipalities of Gander, Clarenville, Paradise and Mount Pearl. More and more Municipalities in Canada’s Maritime Provinces are choosing Book King Software for recreation management because of the positive customer experiences being reported.
“Canadian Municipalities need to maximise their operating budgets and support their staff. Book King Software helps them to do more with fewer resources at an affordable price. Over 300 Organizations and growing utilize Book King to build stronger relationships with their Communities” says Greg Strong, Business Development Manager at Book King.
