August 17th, 2021 – Victoria, BC – The Town of Manitouwadge, Ontario has chosen Book King’s Program Registration, Membership, Public Access and Point of Sale Modules.
Book King’s recreation management software was recently purchased by the Town of Manitouwadge in Ontario. Book King will allow the Community Services staff and residents to easily and conveniently manage all of their recreational needs in the cloud. The Town of Manitouwadge will work with our customer success team to implement Book King over the course of the next couple of months.
The Ontario government is investing over $40 million during COVID-19 to help small and rural Municipalities improve the delivery of critical programs and services. The funding, is under the Municipal Modernization Program, and is part of the government’s $125 million investment through 2022-23 to help small and rural Municipalities become more efficient and save taxpayers’ dollars. The Town of Manitouwadge was awarded funding to make this project possible.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Manitouwadge needed to give the Community the opportunity to register for programs and buy memberships online. These online self service capabilities will reduce face to face interactions for the community and staff. Book King software will do this while saving valuable time and money by reducing staff workload and administrative overhead by streamlining their business processes. The Town of Manitouwadge will enjoy improved communications by providing social media integration with the community and rich reports to inform all executives on key metrics pertaining to recreation management.
