The Municipality Of Barrington Implements Book King Software

February 25th, 2021 – Victoria, BC – The Municipality of Barrington, Nova Scotia,  the Lobster Capital of Canada, has chosen Book King’s Recreation Management Software by Pacific Tier Solutions based in Victoria, BC.

Book King’s Scheduling, Registration and Public Access Modules were recently selected by the Municipality of Barrington’s Recreation Department in Nova Scotia. Book King Software was chosen by Barrington because of the extremely user-friendly interface for both their staff and the general public to use.

The Municipality of Barrington Recreation Department will move to cloud computing by implementing the Book King Recreation Software in time for online registration for summer activities. Book King’s Scheduling, Registration and Public Access Website Modules will provide the Municipality with an advanced yet affordable recreation management software system.

With the implementation of Book King, the Municipality of Barrington can offer additional services and manage bookable spaces currently not covered. The software will save hundreds of staff hours by reducing staff workload and administrative overhead and by streamlining the scheduling, registration and invoicing business processes. Book King’s cloud solution provides the Municipality of Barrington with a centralized database accessible from any computer with an internet connection.

“We are proud to be working with our new partner, the Municipality of Barrington, and look forward to our continued work together to increase productivity in the Recreation Department.” says Greg Strong, Sales Director at Pacific Tier Solutions. “Our software allows the Municipality to streamline the registration and scheduling process while modernizing reporting capabilities.”
