June 29th, 2021 – Victoria, BC – The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, Ontario has chosen Book King’s Recreation Management Software by Pacific Tier Solutions based in Victoria, BC.
The Municipality of Southwest Middlesex has selected Book King Recreation Software as the new integrated registration and recreation management solution for its recreation facilities. Book King’s cloud-based software will replace their existing Recreation Management Software over the course of the next few months.
Book King’s convenient online self-service functionality will benefit residents and users of the municipality’s facilities and recreation programs by providing 24/7 access with faster access during peak registration periods. Book King Software will allow the municipality to provide improved customer service to residents via automated, personalised communications, bookings and access to account information through self-serve options. In addition, improved metrics and reporting statistics will improve operational decision making, ensuring the delivery of optimal services that customers require.
In addition to offering conveniences for the communities, Book King Software provides access for class instructors who will now be able to view their class rosters and key information online at any location and any device before and after class sessions, allowing them to track attendance and enter notes.

About Southwest Middlesex
The restructured municipality of Southwest Middlesex was incorporated on January 1, 2001. This amalgamation joined the Village of Glencoe and the Village of Wardsville with the Townships of Ekfrid and Mosa. Southwest Middlesex had a population of 5,723 in the Canada 2016 Census. Southwest Middlesex is located in the southwest corner of Middlesex County, about halfway between London and Chatham.
The township includes the communities of Appin, Ekfrid, Glencoe, Lewis Corners, Macksville, Mayfair, Newbury Station, North Appin Station, North Ekfrid, North Glencoe Station, Riverside, Strathburn, Tate Corners, Wardsville and Woodgreen. It surrounds, but does not include, the independent village of Newbury. The township administrative offices are located in Glencoe. Wardsville was the site of the Battle of Longwoods during the War of 1812.
