June 25th, 2018 – Victoria, BC – Township of Selwyn Selects Book King’s Scheduling, Public Access and Point of Sale Modules
The Township of Selwyn joins Book King with three modules this Summer. The Town has opted to improve the management of their recreation department by implementing our Scheduling, Public Access and Point of Sale modules.
The Public Access Module is a great addition to the Scheduling module as it takes the backend data entered by staff and produces a clean, easy to use and intuitive interface. This allows Community members to connect with the Organization, check out upcoming events and schedules for any available space. There is also the capability to let the public request rental space as well, reducing administrative workload for staff. We are excited to have The Township of Selwyn on the Book King team!
Location: Located in Central-Eastern Ontario
The Township of Selwyn was created by virtue of two amalgamations and one name change. The Township of Smith and the Township of Ennismore amalgamated on January 1st, 1998. The Township of Smith-Ennismore then amalgamated with the Village of Lakefield on January 1st, 2001. The Township changed its name to the Township of Selwyn in 2013. Township residents have come together as a combined municipality under one name but still remain connected to their historical Township Ward: Ennismore, Lakefield and Smith.
